3 ) Operation

a ) Start the computer program.

b ) Send four characters “ABCD” from the computer to the FX programmable controller.

c ) The FX programmable controller returns the four characters “ABCD” back to the

computer.

d ) The computer compares the data received from the programmable controller and the

original sent data, and displays a result message.

4 ) List of result messages

Message Remedy

Received data is normal. Data sending and receiving is normal.

Data is not received at all or data content is

insufficient.

Check again the writing, station No., transmission

specification, and transmission protocol.

Error code 00H is received. Refer to error code list in chapter 12.

Received character is abnormal.

Check for faulty writing, observing writing cautions.
